Ruben Studdard the “Velvet Teddy Bear” has married his fiancee Surata Zuri McCants.

The couple were married in Cantebury United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday in front of 300 guests.

The bride, wore a white and ivory Casablanca gown, and the proud groom, wore a black tuxedo, white vest, and a white hand-tied bow tie.

Studdard met attendant McCants at a CD signing in Atlanta, Georgia in October 2006, however other sources speculate that McCants was actually a “video girl”.

But neither here nor there the couple are now married and I wish them the best. Congratulations!

Usher appears to be very much in love with his wife, Tameka Foster and very faithful.  He definitely gives Tameka the credit for changing his ways.  Before Tameka, Usher was the rumored playboy who was unable to remain in a committed relationship and be faithful while in that relationship.

But he says all that has changed now that he is married and a father.

He says, “When I became a husband, I became a great man.  Being a guy who’s hustler, a player - everybody knows who I used to be.  But now (I’m) a man of integrity.  The combination of father and individual.  Being a young man who could have a bevy of women and do whatever, to become more conscious to accept a monogamous relationship - not just (t0) be that guy who goes from woman to woman, but a guy of substance.”

According to US Weekly, Mark Sudack, music producer and Mariah Carey dated for about four years and secretly split in early 2008.  Word is Sudack is “shattered” by the news of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s recent marriage.

“Everyone is scared to call him because no one knows what to say,” a friend of his told the mag.  “He never thought she would go off and marry someone else.  He’s heartbroken and shocked.”

I wonder if Nick Cannon was a rebound? I’m just saying!  Just a thought!

Okay, I am sure everybody knows Beyonce and Jay-Z are married and they have yet to publicly admit the marriage.  All the pictures surrounding the event, sightings, and inside scoop all but confirms the marriage.  I don’t need further confirmation, but hell here we go again, more evidence of a marriage. According to People.com, the couple filed their signed wedding license Friday, April 18 in Scarsdale, N.Y. and this was confirmed exclusively with People.  This ish is getting ridiculous.
