A new L’Oreal Paris Feria hair color ad that surfaced online yesterday has the net buzzing.

Beyonce as you can see does look somewhat lighter when you compare the pics above. So presumeably one is to assume that the picture to the right was lighten for some reason.

Today, L’Oreal adamantly denies lightening Beyonce’s image.

“We highly value our relationship with Ms. Knowles. It is categorically untrue that L’Oreal Paris altered Ms. Knowles’ features or skin-tone in the campaign for Feria’s hair color.”

The ad is set to appear in this month’s Elle, Allue and Essence magazines.
