In this issue of the entertainment magazine, Mariah Carey shares how she was able to lose 30 pounds of baby fat in three months.
“How’d she slim down? Beginning in July, Carey buckled down with a nutritionist and a workout plan from Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig), keeping to a 1,500-calorie-a-day menu and thrice-weekly workouts.”
Mariah’s commitment to her weight loss regimen really paid off- she looks incredible.

Chris Brown has been a busy man. He dropped F.A.M.E. earlier this year; and now he’s prepping for the release of his upcoming album Fortune.

New York bred rapper, Juelz Santana was arrested this week in New Jersey on suspicion of making terrorist threats. He was also charged with disorderly conduct.
Not much is known about the events that led up to the alleged terroristic threats. Luck does not seem to be on Santana’s side, his vehicle was also impounded because he refused to allow the police search it.
Santana was later released from a New Jersey jail on $46,500 bond.
Santana has been previously arrested on everything from allegedly threatening his then girlfriend with a knife to weapons possession; and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

Some details of the private funeral for rap legend Heavy D have been revealed. The funeral will be held at Grace Baptist Church of Mount Vernon, a suburb of New York City, Saturday (Nov 18).
According to the New York Daily News, the funeral service will be invitation only. Family, friends and many celebrities including Mary J. Blige, Diddy and Wayans brothers will attend the service.
While the funeral is invitation only, there will be a public viewing and wake, set to take place Friday (Nov 17) at Grace Baptist Church of Mount Vernon.
Dwight Arrington Myer, 44 better known as Heavy D, died at a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday after collapsing outside his Beverly Hills home.
The world came to know Heavy D as the “Overweight Lover” in the late 1980s and 1990s, with such hits as “Big Daddy”, “Black Coffee” and “Somebody For Me”. He was an accomplished actor appearing in Cider House Rules and Life; and most recently appearing in Tower Heist.

Smokes aka Mr. Asian Pride released his highly anticipated mixtape, The Pre Party, which includes collaborations with Three 6 Mafia, Nipsey Hussle, Joell Ortiz and Jackie Chain. DJ Pain 1 (Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Jim Jones) and Sean Divine (Jadakiss, Ras Kass) put their skills to work on the production side of this project.
Smokes describes the sound of his mixtape as, “melting pot of sounds, from classic hip-hop to mainstream pop, to bass heavy Dubstep”.

The jurors returned a guilty verdict in the state’s case against Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson’s former physician was formally convicted of involuntary manslaughter and faces up to 4 years behind bars.
Murray is scheduled to be sentenced November 29.
