Kim Kardashian Files For Divorce
Let me be the millionth person to say, ‘should we be shocked?’ Kim Kardashian filed for divorce today (Oct 31, 2011) from her NBA baller husband Kris Humphries, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.
Kim Kardashian explains in a statement to MTV, “After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision…I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
While Kim Kardashian is the petitioner in this divorce suit, Kris Humphries seems to be in love and committed their marriage. Or at least that is what he said in his statement regarding the divorce to People.com.
“I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents,” he says in the statement, “and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”
Kim has hired top gun attorney, Laura Wasser who’s represented Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and other A-List celebs. The pair signed a prenuptial agreement, covering separate property and all income acquired prior to the union. Kim and Kris over the top wedding was a media frenzy; generating the couple approximately $18 million dollars which is now up for grabs.

Los Angeles Laker baller, Matt Barnes and reality TV star, Gloria Govan have ended their relationship.
In effort to address rumors of the status of his relationship with Govan, Barnes announced the news of their break up in an email statement Monday (Oct 24).
“I’d like to address the rumors surrounding mine and Gloria’s relationship,” Barnes’ statement read. “We have reached the difficult decision of ending our relationship and will be going our separate ways at this time. We will work together to raise our sons and wish each other only the best.” ~ LA Times Blog
It’s not as though the announcement comes as a shock. They’ve been the center of break up rumors for a while; and Barnes has been arrested for suspicion of domestic violence, in which he was never charged in that case.
Govan and Barnes have two children, 3-year old twins Carter Kelly and Isiah Michael.

Hailing from Miami, this 19-yeqr old newcomer and sophomore at the University of Miami is really making her mark as the next generation new emerging female rappers. She’s worked with Trina, Missy Elliott, and others.
Brianna was signed to Poe Boy Music Group in Miami. She announced via her website wwww.briannayrb.com that she recently inked a major deal with Atlantic Records. So major things in the works for Bri; not to mention the video for her first single, “Fly Kicks” off Face Off debuted on BET’s 106 Park.
Brianna’s debut album, Birl Talk, early 2012 and her debut mixtape, Face Off is set to be released soon.

Word is Rick Ross is in stable condition after experiencing two seizures Friday (October 14).
In fact, according to TMZ, Rick Ross plan to hit the stage tonight (Oct 15) for the North Carolina A&T State University homecoming celebration at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina.
The Miami rapper suffered two seizures while in route to do a show at the University of Memphis basketball event. He had to make emergency landings in Birmingham, Alabama and in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Rick Ross is about his business – the show must go on.
