
British soul singer Amy Winehouse, 27 was found dead in her Camden Square, North London flat approximately 11 a.m. Easter daylight time. There has not been a cause of death and the local authorites all describing her death as “unexplained” for now. There are no further details released to the public.
The troubled singer released her debut album, Frank in October 20, 2003. Later, Winehouse was introduced to the United States with her second album, Back To Black (March 1, 2007).
After the release of Back To Black Winehouse publicly struggled with her drug addiction. She has tried to kick her habit by entering drug rehab in 2008 and also checking herself in treatment early 2011.
Amy Winehouse won five Grammy Awards for Back to Black including Best New Artist and Record of the Year.
