The internet was buzzing with rumors of Soulja Boy dropping $55 million on a G5 jet for his 21st birthday. Damn, that’s a lot of coins for a birthday gift.
Well stop your hyperventilating, because the rumors were false according to the New York Daily News.
TMZ reported on Friday that the hip-hop artist dropped a whopping $55 million on a G5 jet in celebration of his 21st birthday — but now Soulja’s spokesperson says it’s just a load of hot air.
Although the web site got the information verified by the “Pretty Boy Swag” singer himself, who told TMZ, “Hell yeah, I bought it,” Interscope Records’ Greg Miller says the “elaborate rumors” are “not true.”
Initially, a member of Soulja boy’s management team revealed that he had bought a $35 million jet and was going to drop an additional $20 million to pimp his ride with 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, four liquor bars, luxurious bathroom and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.

Initially, Kelly Rowland was going to cover the Vibe magazine’s upcoming Aug/Sept ‘Juice’ issue. Since, Amy Winehouse’s untimely death the magazine decided to split the cover to pay tribute to the singer.
In this issue, super producer Salaam Remi were one of the last to see her alive while he was in London working with her on her album.
Excerpt:
I’m in London now. I’m out here because [Amy and I] were supposed to go to a wedding today. And before I could get to her yesterday she passed. We were going to the wedding of Nick Symansky, who is the person who really found her. He found her when he was a scout at 19. And he was the manager before they got the Universal deal.
They went ahead with the wedding. All I could do was sit there and imagine how many jokes she would have been cracking with me. We were in the middle of working on the album. She finished writing the record. We just hadn’t recorded
.

Kelly Rowland goes topless for Vibe’s ‘Juice’ issue and let’s just say she has proven her point completely – she’s Ms. Kelly and she can’t be stopped.
She is riding the success of her single, “Motivation” and the release of her latest album “Here I Am” she has finally won over the United States.
In this issue, Kelly talks UK popularity, relationship with Matthew Knowles and seductive side and visiting sex shops.
Excerpt:
Speaking of this road we’re going on… Let’s talk about the song “Motivation.” I have to admit, the song went completely over my head. I thought you were talking about working out.
[Laughs] No, honey. When you heard the song, did you think, This may be too racy for my image?
Not at all. Every woman knows what that feels like—hopefully. But everyone doesn’t expect Kelly to sing about it. This is true. But I just loved the song so much. And yes, I can relate to it. I came into my sexuality while I was recording this album. I can walk into a sex shop now and not worry about what people would say if they saw me in there. You really do that? Go to sex shops?
Yeah! With friends on the low. I go at the right time. Nighttime. 1 a.m. The really good ones are open that late.
