Young Jeezy’s fourth studio album, Thug Motivation 103 is finally complete. The rapper took to Twitter, May 18 (Wed) where he announced this huge milestone.
“#TM103 is Done!!! The summer Will Be Crazy”, he tweeted.
TM103 has been plagued with multiple setbacks since the original release date in 2009. While the album sat in limbo for a couple years, Jeezy was still working to stay relevant with hits like, “Lose My Mind” featuring Plies and “All White Everything” featuring Yo Gotti.
The album’s single, “Ballin” featuring Lil Wayne was released last week digitally and it’s doing well. As to the release date for the album, the net is buzzing with rumors that July 26 is the day – I’m going to wait and see.
Drizzy Drake released a new track, “Dreams Money Can Buy” on his website October’s Very Own. Of course you know it’s fire.
“A song that I felt the need to share. Not my single. Just a piece of my story. Hear me out though…” ~ Drake

Nicki Minaj is under new management. She has parted ways with managers, Diddy and Jason Cruz.
Minaj is now managed by Gee Roberson and Kyambo “Hip Hop” Joshua whose company, Hip Hop Since 1978 also manages Lil Wayne, Drake, Young Jeezy and Just Blaze.
According to XXL.com, the only reason given for the move to change managment was, Minaj thought Diddy was suppose to be more “hands-on” with her career.
Otherwise, the break is without drama, there are no hard feelings.
Houston rapper Yung Truth recently dropped a new mixtape, “From The Dirt”. This project included features from Doughbeezy, Corey H, Dante Higgins, Exquisite, Lil Jeff, KAB tha Don, Delo, John Dew and J Sixx.
The sound of Houston can be heard throughout “From The Dirt” especially in “Time 2 Lay Em Down” featuring Doughbeezy, “Candy Drop” and “Kush Clouds”.
I was not impressed with “Don’t Go”, however the follow up with “Hit The Pedal”, was just what I needed to keep my mind from checking out. Definitely a banger.
An the up-tempo song, “I Feel Good” featuring Dante Higgins did add a nice mix to the album. True to the title of the song, it really makes you reminiscence on past memories.
“Eat Grind”, “Money By The Ton” and “Gettin It On” are great tracks to bob your head to the beat while your trunk is bumping to continuous flow of beats.
“From The Dirt” is definitely an album that would appeal more to our Texas hip hop heads but I believe has enough to offer any listener and lover of hip hop.
