As I was reading my daily favorite blogs, I came across a video interview with singer/songwriter Miguel on Soul Bounce.
The Los Angeles native is a new R&B singer with a self described “eclec-tric” style. He first grabbed my attention with his hot single, “All I Want Is You” featuring rapper J. Cole.
The Soul Bounce family caught up with Miguel while he was on tour with Mary J. Blige and Jazmine Sullivan.
Check it out.

Rihanna’s new music video, “What’s My Name” featuring rapper Drake has finally been released.
Let’s just say Rihanna and Drake got close and looked very comfortable with one another. The story line of the video was very believeable and romantic.
Rihanna was gorgeous and seemed well, more like the girl next door, but with an edge. Totally loved it!
Rihanna’s upcoming album, “Loud” will be released Nov. 14.

Rapper J. Cole dropped his new mixtape, “Friday Night Lights” Friday, Nov 12 via his website www.dreamvillain.net. This mixtape drew so many fans to his website that it crashed. Ugh!
“Friday Night Lights” will feature Wale, Omen, Drake, Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean and Cyhi Da Prince.

“You Got It” featuring Wale is one of my favorite tracks off of this mixtape.

Could Soulja Boy be one of the luckiest people around? Or did he really have a strategy behind his music career that he launched online?
I am sure these days everybody has heard about how Soulja Boy got his start. Essentially Youtube and Soundclick helped launch his successful career; and many people want to how.
“I built my name on SoundClick first,” he told Hawkins. “Once I reached the top ten, my plays started to increase after every week. After I found MySpace, I linked my Myspace page directly to my SoundClick account. After I did my first million, my music was in the streets, and I just started doing shows from there.”
Soulja Boy most recently sat down with TV Journalist Lee Hawkins to do an interview for Wall Street Journal’s “Weekend Coversations”. Check out his interview.
Soulja Boy even mentions an idea about combining the Facebook. Twitter, Youtube and Myspace together and really “going crazy with it.”
With his drive and creativity, I think anything is possible for Soulja Boy.
