Mariah Carey’s New Sweet Scent Inspired Nick Cannon
Mariah Carey introduces her new fragrance, Lollipop Bling. She explains, her new scent was inspired by her hubby, Nick Cannon marriage proposal.
“The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me,” she says in a release. “He first surprised me with a ring-pop — romantic, fun and young-at-heart — like me!”
The cutesy fragrances, Mine Again, Honey and Ribbon; will launch next month (July 2010).
Prices start at $35 for 1 oz.
Jun192010Jay Z’s Surprise Free Concert Cancelled In The NYC
Jay Z had planned to surprise a crowd of people with a concert from a top of the Ed Sullivan Threater Marquees, which was to air on “The Late Show with David Letterman”.
Once the details of the concert was leaked to the public, the Mayor’s office pulled the plug on the event.
According to MTV, an associate commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Film, Threatre and Broadcasting, stated in an email, that in the initial communications about the concert, permits would be granted with the stipulation that details of the show would remain sealed from the public.
Keeping the details of the concert quiet was suppose to be a measure to control “capacity and for security reasons”.
Another day and another cancelled show…….

Kelly Rowland has finally released the album covers for her singles “Grown Woman” and “Rose Colored Glasses”. She looks absolutely gorgeous.
Ms. Kelly is set to release her 3rd solo studio, which is self titled September 14, 2010.

Who knew Snoop Dogg was that big a fan of the HBO fangalicious serios, “True Blood”? He’s even a bigger fan of the show’s star Sookie Stackhouse.
Snoop put it down on a track and in a video, “Oh Sookie”. *giggles*
In the beginning of the video he rolls into the town of Bon Temps, Lousiana and stops at Merlotte’s where Sookie works with Tru Pimp on his license plate.
Go Figure!
There are about five Sookie “look-a-likes” all in blonde wigs and bar aprons dancing around while Snoop rhymes about Snookie.
Quite honestly this is not Snoop’s best work, but I totally feel him on “True Blood”. I am a huge fan of “True Blood” and I had a crush on Eggs before he was killed off.
A new episode of “True Blood” airs every Sunday on HBO, check your local listings for the times.

Lauryn Hill, former member of the legendary hip hop group The Fugees performed live at the Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa, California on June 13, 2010. Rumor has it L Boogie was a little late to the venue and her performance was not exactly five stars.
But anywho, she performed all of oldies but goodies while amazingly not looking like a complete clown. I’m sorry guys Lauryn has been looking like a character in a circus lately, but I digress.
She’s still L Boogie and very talented.
