Tiger Woods sponsors are unloading him like bad stock in a depression. AT&T is the latest company to drop Woods.
AT&T announced Thursday, December 31 it would no longer sponsor Tiger Woods, joining many other companies who has unloaded the famous golfer after numerous allegations of marital indiscretions.
If you are like me wondering when did you ever see Tiger in a commercial, well you haven’t. He has not appeared in very many print ads or commercials for the telephone company. However Tiger did carry a golf bag with AT&T’s logo on it.
Tiger was also the host of the AT&T National PGA event, which by the way, the company does plan to continue to sponsor the annual golf tournament without Tiger.
AT&T Inc., did not provide an official reason for dropping Tiger Woods, nor were there any details disclosed about the value of the contract.
