Snoop Dogg Nation Launches Today On Sirius XM Radio
Rapper Snoop Dogg will be hosting Snoop Dogg Nation on Sirius XM Radio. The limited-run channel will launch today, December 14 at 12:00 pm ET and will run until Sunday, December 20 at 10:00 pm ET on the SIRIUS Channel 40 and XM Channel 67.
Snoop Dogg Nation will feature all of Snoop Dogg’s music, collaborations and I’m sure there will be a lot of Snoop’s hilarious commentary. He will be interviewed by Hip Hop Nation’s host Renada will get the scoop on Snoop’s new appointment as Creative Chairman of Priority Records.
Besides hosting his satellite Snoop’s latest album, Malice N Wonderland was released December 8.

Dec122009Personal Struggles and Time To Give Thanks
I just wanted to share something with my readers. This year has been a very hard year mentally and emotionally for me.
On April 19, 2009 my life changed. My father passed away from complications from Chronic Obstructive Pulminary Disease (COPD).
The three months my dad was in the hospital prior to his death I spent everyday with him until the day he closed his eyes and went to heaven.
Just before my dad went into the hospital, the company I worked for closed up due to the economy.
Believe or not blogging kept me busy and kept me from losing my mind, while being jobless and grieving my dad’s death.
So those who visit my blog regularly could see sometimes I would post alot and other times very little. When I would post alot I was feeling good; and of course when I posted a couple of times a week I was really going through it mentallyand emotionally.
And quite honestly I have been going through it lately because of the holidays and my father’s birthday was December 6.
But here I am feeling better and I felt like sharing.
I am thankful for the people I have met while blogging, my readers, my family and friends. With time and my faith it’s getting a little easier every day.
And yes I am employed now. I have been working now for almost three months
…..a sister gotta pay the bills.
Let’s face I’m not doing it big yet like Necole Bitchie, B Scott and Blogxilla, but I will be sooner than you think.
With that being said I plan to get back to posting frequently, so be ready.
I know was rambling…I just wanted to share my thoughts and give thanks! xoxo

Ex-World Wrestling Entertainment champion died Friday (Dec 4) after suffering a heart attack according to his family.
Eddie “Ugama” Fatu’s wife found him in their Spring, Texas home unresponsive with blood coming from his nose and not breathing. He was rushed to the an area Houston hospital and put on life support.
Late Friday afternoon, Ugama suffered a second heart attack and was pronounced dead at 5 pm.
Ugama, 36 was born in the American Samoa and come from a family of wrestlers;Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is his cousin.
Prior to Ugama’s fatal heart attack, he had just returned from Australia after completing a tour with Hulk Hogan.
WWE is working with Ugama’s family to set the service for Tuesday or Wednesday, however these plans have not been confirmed.

Dec52009Anthony Hamilton A No Show At Houston Event
Grammy award winning soul singer, Anthony Hamilton was set to perform live at Ayva Center (Houston, Texas) Friday (Dec 4), but he didn’t.
Approximately 800 people arrived to the venue in the hopes of hearing some soulful tunes from Anthony Hamilton to only find out later he wasn’t going to perform. In fact the show was set for 9:00pm to 11:00pm and Hamilton did not arrive until midnight.
According to KHOU, Anthony Hamilton was told he was doing a meet and greet with the fans, not a performance. Well let’s just say the promoters and others connected to the event did not offer the fans any explaination while they wait tiredlessly for Anthony Hamilton to perform.

Fortunately some of the fans were able to get a refund and other filed an incident report with the Houston Police Department.
Dec52009Katt Williams In Trouble In Georgia Again
Comedian Katt Williams was detained at a Georgia Walmart along with three other people surrounding a confrontation.
The Newnan Police arrived on the scene upon receiving a 911 call from a man claiming some one had gun. Williams was questioned and released while the others were arrested and criminally charged.
Reportedly the local authorities seized firearms found at the scene which belonged to Williams and later returned them to him.
According to the police chief, Douglas Meadows, authorities believe that Shirley and Tony Williams — the mother and brother of Katt Williams’ girlfriend, Yolanda — confronted Katt at the Walmart because they were concerned about Yolanda’s well being. The third individual, Lilly James was charged with possession of marijuana.
Williams has not been charged.
Dec52009Nas DUI Charges Dropped
The internet has been buzzing about Nas being arrested for be under the influence of marijuana September 10 while in Henry County, Georgia.
Nasir “Nas” Jones’ attorney, John C. Mayoue stands firm that his client has not been charged with any crime.
“Nas has not been charged with any offense whatsoever, including DUI. The state’s own lab results were negative for any drugs, including marijuana.” [AJC]
In the day and age of the internet the dashcam footage of his arrest landed on the net Friday (Dec 4).
At some point during questioning, Nas admitted to having smoked marijuana while at a friend’s house.
The DUI charges were dropped against Nas Thursday (Dec 3).

Pop star Lady Gaga grabs the January 2010 edition of the Elle fashion magazine.
The creative over the top celeb may appear to some as slightly chemically imbalanced but Lady Gaga isn’t, she’s an artist. And she explains in her Elle feature, she takes her craft seriously.
On a recurring theme in her work: “I feel that if I can show my demise artistically to the public, I can somehow cure my own legend. I can show you so you’re not looking for it. I’m dying for you on domestic television—here’s what it looks like, so no one has to wonder.”
On using her sexuality: “My album covers are not sexual at all, which was an issue at my record label. I fought for months, and I cried at meetings. They didn’t think the photos were commercial enough…The last thing a young woman needs is another picture of a sexy pop star writhing in sand, covered in grease, touching herself.”
