“Thriller” Lands In U.S. Film Registry

Michael Jackson’s video, “Thriller” will literally go down in history. On Wednesday (Dec 30), the Library of Congress announced that they had added the video to its National Film Registry, among several films being deemed “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant to be preserved for all time.”
“Thriller” was released in 1983 and directd by John Landis.
The Library of Congress described the video as an elaborate production that “revolutionized the music industry.”
An awesome honor for a great entertainer.
