Former supermodel Tyra Banks has decided to end her Emmy award winning day time talk show in the Spring 2010 with the support of her mentor Oprah Winfrey and friend, filmmaker Tyler Perry.
“This will be the last season of “The Tyra Show,“ as told to People.com. I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”
Banks said she will focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a N.Y. based film production company and producing, positive images for young girls and women through film.

She may be leaving day time television, but Banks will remain on air with “America’s Next Top Model”. Also she’s hard at work on her new ABC show, “True Beauty”.
“The Tyra Banks Show” debuted in 2005 bringing a different flavor to day time television where she made every effort to discuss taboo topics.
