Gucci Mane Speaks On Returning To Jail
Photo: Getty ImagesAtlanta rapper Gucci Mane was sent back to jail last week to serve a one year sentce for probation violation. This jail sentence came in my opinion the worst time in his career because he is experiencing so much success.
Gucci sent a statement to XXLMag.com, according to MTV:
“I have accepted full responsibility for my actions, and I am ready to deal with what is in front of me right now,” Gucci’s statement read. “Thankfully, my label is still moving forward with my album release, so I will have plenty to look forward to when I get out. I am remaining positive and want my fans to know that I am grateful for their loyalty and continued support. I will get through this.” [MTV]
Gucci’s attorney, Dwight L. Thomas believes his client could be out of jail the first of the year.
“First of the year, he could be out,” Gucci’s lawyer Dwight L. Thomas explained to MTV News last week. “It all depends on his conduct and how he conducts himself while he’s there. We’re working on other avenues that might entitle him to be released early. If nothing happens at all, he’ll do six months. But if we’re able to do some of the things we’re exploring, we may get this thing down to two months.” [MTV]
Besides Gucci Mane facing jail time, Lil Wayne is also facing a one year jail sentence as well, in connection to weapons charges.
It just seems like every other month a rapper is going jail or in court. smh

Nivea and Lil Wayne has reportedly welcomed a healthy baby boy over the weekend.
The rapper has three sons now and a total of four children. Actress Lauren London, gave birth to Wayne’s second son in September 2009.
In a recent conversation with Tim Westwood Lil Wayne revealed he had three sons.
“Two girls pregnant at the same time?” Tim Westwood said. “Congratulations.” Wayne responded “Three,” before clarifying his remark for Westwood, who thought the rapper meant he’d gotten three women pregnant at the same time. “I mean [I'll have] three sons,” he explained. Nivea has three children with her ex-husband singer/songwriter The-Dream who is now married to Christina Milian and she is now pregnant with the couple’s first child.

Photo: Getty Images50 Cent ain’t playing these days. He’s suing WorldStarHipHop.com claiming the popular video site used images of him without his permission.
“I gotta lawsuit against WorldStar for utilizing my likeness. A lot of people felt like that was my site because they saw my face on the cover of [the website] for a long time,” explained 50. “I have lawyers on retainers and I have to pay them so much money anyway, so we’ll go back and forth to court until [they] can’t afford a subway sandwich. It’s already too late for [them].” [SixShot]

Photo: AdMediaThere is finally a release date for Usher’s upcoming album, Raymond V. Raymond. Jive announced December 21 is the day, the album will hit store shelves.
I’m sure I’m not the only one curious as to how well this album will do. To date Usher’s best selling album, Confessions released in 2004 has sold 9.7 million units whereas his last album “Here I Stand” released in 2008 sold 1.2 million units to date.
Quite a difference!
