Author Terry McMillan Owes More Than $253k In Taxes

Bestselling author Terry McMillan got some problems that most people don’t want. IRS in her business.

According to DETNews, IRS filed a tax lien in Contra Costa County Court on McMillian in the amount of $253,446.

McMillan, who’s best known for her book, “How Stella Got Her Groove” back which eventually led up to a movie; and unfortunately is also know for her marriage to Jonathan Plummer who was almost half her age and inspiration for the book.

The two wedded in 1998, Plummer revealed he was gay in 2005 and shortly thereafter in March 2006 the two were divorced.

And if you wondering if McMillan is still writing, she is. She last published a book in 2005, “The Interruption of Everything”.
