Marv Albert Denies 50 Cent Altercation

Sports broadcaster Marv Albert totally denies the rumors of him being involved in a scuffle on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” much less being punched by 50 Cent.

“I couldn’t even tell you that the guy looked like or the security guard looked like,” Albert tells The Associated Press.

According to Albert, what really happened was no where near what has been reported on the internet. Apparently, he was not even close to the exchange, which Albert believed was caused when a member of 50 Cent’s entourage was prevented by show security from using a phone in the room that was supposed to belong to Albert.

Albert was a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” just before he called the Lakers’ home game against Chicago on TNT.

A writer for the Los Angeles Times originally reported the event as a “scuffle and a fist or two flying” but never mentioned Albert being a part of it.
