During advertising week in New York, Wyclef Jean revealed plans to launch a charitable partnership with clothing and footwear company Timberland last week.
Known for fighting to improve living conditions in his beloved Haiti, Wyclef forged a partnership with Timberland which includes every pair of boots sold, $2 will be donated to his charity Yele Haiti Foundation.

Also in this Q&A session with editorial director Bill Werde of Billboard, Wyclef also discussed other upcoming deals with other “mega-brands”.
Just last week he and rocker Avril Lavigne and Brad Paisley shot a commercial shoot for upcoming T-Mobile television spots. Also, Wyclef is also the new face of Western Union for the next sixteen months.
Wyclef may be busy with charity, marketing and the sorts, but don’t be fooled he has been working in the studio on a mixtape to drop November 12 and an album to be released in March 2010.
