This is the big night for Jay Leno’s primetime talk show “The Jay Leno show”. This is the first talk show to ever be put in the primetime hour five days a week. A challenge to say the least!
Jerry Seinfeld stopped by promoting his “Seinfeld” reunion on the HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm”.
Well then there’s the biggest challenge and maybe the biggest ratings for Jay Leno was premiere night and Kanye West apology.
Prior to Kanye West performance with Jay Z and Rihanna he unexpectly requested to speak with Jay Leno. I originally thought Jay Leno would have asked him about the VMA moment, but Kanye went into his spill which went into an apology.
He was long face which appeared to be almost a mirror image of a man who feels ashamed. Kanye became emotional when Jay Leno asked him “what would your mother have said about this?”
Sometimes I feel sorry for Kanye because maybe he is going through his own issues and dealing with the loss of his mother. But I would have to say at some point enough is enough.
Outside of Kanye’s apology, Jay Z, Rihanna and his performance was excellent. I love “Run This Town” more and more everytime I hear it and especially when I see them perform it.
