One Tree Hills’ Antwon Tanner Pleads Guilty Fake ID Scam

Antwon Tanner, 35 pleaded guilty today (August 21) in Brooklyn federal court to illegally selling Social Security numbers for $10,000.

According the Eonline, he admitted in court to being the middleman in scam that sold 16 made up social security numbers and three fake IDs that were given to Tanner and in turn he gave them to an undercover agent with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.

Some of the Social Security numbers were unassigned while others were traced to dead people and to persons who did not know their identification numbers had been stolen by Tanner, the source said.

At the same time Tanner was pocketing thousands of illicit dollars, the diminutive actor’s career was taking off. (NYDailyNews)

Prior to this case, Tanner had no criminal history or record.

Antwon Tanner could face upto a max of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He set to be sentenced November 20.
