Jay Z has confirmed he has landed a distribution deal with Sony for his new label Roc Nation. On the other hand, Jay’s upcoming solo album, The Blueprint 3 will be distributed through Atlantic which is set to be released September 11.
Jay Z originally presented the same distrubition deal to Def Jam four years ago, and was turned down.
| “You have to figure, this is like four years ago, and to them it was just like, ‘Are you crazy? No! Make a song!’” he said. “To me it was like, I’ve sold companies for huge amounts of money. I’m an entrepreneur — that’s what I’ve been all my life. I can’t just sit here and make records and not do anything else. Why wouldn’t you want to do this with me? I felt under-utilized.” ~Billboard~ |
When his Def Jam contract nearing the expiration date and he was only in the hole with Def Jam for one album, he decided to buy the remainder of his contract for an estimated $5 million.

Charlamagne has got to be the worst shock jock I have ever heard of. He speaks to Jeremih, he went from talking about Jeremih’s name to talking about his mother and father. Sort of insulting you ask me. Check it out!

I guess Tameka Foster was shocked by the divorce proceedings filed, although rumors of Usher infidelities and playboy ways had been circulating on the internet for minute.
According to new court documents filed, she disspelled the idea that she and Usher had been seperated since July 2008. In fact Foster states, she and Usher actually had been intimate less than week before he started divorce proceedings. *damn*
“Ya think he could have told her, he was filing for divorce instead of finding out thereafter.”
Hold on there’s more, the documents further state she had “every reason to believe her marriage was intact.”
Therefore, Foster is requesting all of her legal fees be paid and Usher continue to support his family financially. She is probably seeking more that just paid legal fees, she may not be a woman scorned but she ain’t crazy.
The couple has been married nearly two years and have two sons together. Usher is seeking joint custody of the children.

vibe magazine officially announced yesterday they were closing there doors permanently. Most of were shocked and maybe the staff was even more shocked.
According to Reuters.com, Jones told EbonyJet.com that he has already put his plan into action to Vibe magazine back.
Quincy Jones’ plan to breathe life back into Vibe before it got cold, could be a good plan and take it online an even better plan.
| The caveat is that print is no longer an option: “Print and all that stuff is over, we gotta remember that,” Jones said. “The Chicago Tribune, The Seattle Post Intelligencer. The Miami Herald. They’re over the same way as the record business. We have got to get into this century. ~Reuters~ |

Cardiac arrest is the major side effect of Propofol, especially if it is taken with narcotic painkillers.
