Akon has confirmed he’s expecting his sixth child, a baby boy with Ugandan woman, Susan Owori who is the younger sister of a Kampala fashion designer, Syvie Owori.
“I think kids are a blessing,” he told us. “[To set the record straight], I never ran away from my responsibilities and I never plan to. Everything I am doing now is for [my other five kids] anyway, so the more kids I can have, the better. I just love them.”
(NY Daily News)
Akon is the father of five other children with three other women. Most recently, he was accused of not financially supporting his six month old baby he has with Sara Coleman.
Akon’s attorney, Patrick Baghdaserians slammed the accusations of his client being a deadbeat dad.
“Akon has taken responsibility and has been extremely cooperative and proactive in handling this private matter. Paternity was only established just over 30 days ago. Since the case was filed outside of Georgia jurisdiction, where he is a legal resident, Akon is currently in the process of engaging counsel in California and will continue to handle this matter in a timely manner.”(BlackCelebKids/TMZ)
Word is Akon and Susan Owori met in London approximately six to eight years ago and have been friends since then. There has not been any further confirmation on the status of Owori and Akon’s relationship.

“I would not be afraid of his past,” Dungy said in a conference call with reporters back in June. “I think he deserves it and think if he gets a second chance, he will do well. And I think we’ll see a different Michael Vick off the field.”
At this point, Vick’s representatives believe there are about fourteen teams interested but only eight who could be serious about signing Vick, ultimately giving him another chance to relaunch his NFL career. While there may be fourteen teams interested; Dallas, Seattle, St. Louis, Tampa Bay and San Francisco have no interested in signing Vick.

Meet the five member rap group, Young Problemz from Houston, Texas, who have taken the music industry by storm. Their hot single “Boi” (I Got So Many…) has been burning the airwaves in Houston for minute and have truly has been received by the fans. Check out the interview.

How did you all get together to form Young Problemz? About two years ago. See we all from separate groups around Houston. So I (Chyco) thought we had so much talent among us I thought why not just form a super group with us. We were already working hard, and we were collaborating. So one day we hit the studio and here we are “Young Problemz”.
How would you all describe your sound? You know it’s crazy. A lot of people judge us off of the single we have out now, “Boi”. We really did that track because we felt that it was necessary.
It was more of a calculated business move.
If you really listen to “Boi”, we went old school Southside Houston. We wanted to let people know we were some young cool kats and we know where we from. We trying to make everybody happy, mixing the old with the new.
I thought so; I wanted to ask that, because normally people expect that you should sound like everybody from Houston. You know that H-Town chopped and screwed sound.
Yeah, but it really was an accident. We really did not intend for “Boi” to come out like that, but everybody liked it and thought we put it down.
How long have you all been at this journey in your music career? We all have been grinding, probably since about middle school. You know everybody is a rapper at that time in your life. We don’t really count that time, we actually count the time from when we actually sat down and decided what we were going to do. So we have been at this, on our grind for exactly one year.
What has the hustle been like for Young Problemz, such as your sacrifices and experiences? 99.9% of my experiences were bad. This game is not for the faint of heart. My advice to the kids is to go school get your education don’t be a rapper. In this game, if you were married or whatever, you may not be, because this is a full time job. I am not trying to be negative, but it takes up so much of your time and money. You put so much money into this rap thang, you stay broke. Anybody tell you they got money in their pockets in the beginning they ain’t really putting in work. And when this is not a hobby for you, you will do it all day everyday with no money.
Anybody in this game no what I am talking about.

Foxy Brown has been hit with a lawsuit filed by the Internal Revenue Services after running up debts $641,558. She is accused of failing to pay federal taxes due to the state of New York.
So far, a tax lien was filed in June for taxes owed from 2003 however, Brown’s back taxes include 2003 through 2006.
And while Foxy Brown is having trouble paying her taxes, 50 Cent had to slash price of his mansion.

50 Cent’s Connecticut mansion has been on the market for about two years, and he just can not sell it. Initially the home was on the market for $18.5 million, then he dropped it to $14.5 million last year and now he has dropped it to $10.9 million.

This 50,000 sq ft mansion was previously owned by Mike Tyson. 50 Cent purchased the home for $4.1 million and spent $6 million on renovations and repairs.
At this rate, 50 Cent might break even. Let’s hope, it ain’t looking favorable for him.
New music video, “Sunglasses” from Divine Brown featuring Nelly Furtado. This track is fun, sort of reminds me of maybe a eighties disco video. Your thoughts?
