Yung Berg Accused Of Assaulting A Woman

A woman, Chelsea Berry of California filed a police report July 16, accusing Yung Berg of physical assault.

Berry met Berg at a pool party at his home in June 2009, where subsequently Berry along with two of her friends went to Berg’s home on July 15.

Upon arriving at Berg’s home, Berry saw he had three other friends there including another woman.

After one of Berry’s friends left, she says she and Berg were “playing around” and he threw her into the pool.

When her other friend decided to leave, Berry stayed behind, waiting for her clothes to dry, as she was wearing only underwear. Shortly thereafter, Berry said she became jealous, when Berg disappeared into a room with the other young woman, whose name Berry gave simply as “Shay”.(AllHipHop)

This is when things went south really quickly. According to Berry, Berg emerged from the room and began accusing her of fooling around with one of his friends, from there the verbal attack became a physical attack on Berry.

“He striked [sic] me with the palm of his hand, like about three times. On my head, on my eye, and I was falling back like, ‘What did I do? What did I do?,’” Berry told AllHipHop.com exclusively. “And that’s when he told me to leave. Then [his friend] Sincere was like, ‘Calm down, I’ll give her a ride.’” (AllHipHop)

Instead of dropping Berry off at home, Berg rode with Berry and his friend where they deliberately took her to undisclosed location at 3 am and left her with no phone, semi nude and no way to safely get home.

Berry had to hitchhike home, where eventually she told her mother and friends about the assault. She filed the police report the folllowing day.

Berg’s representatives have not commented on Chelsea Berry’s allegations.
