Lil Wayne Sued Over No Show

Lil Wayne is being sued by Red City Entertainment in a Manhattan Supreme Court after allegedly, he was a no show at concert that he was booked to play in Bahamas last year on September 27. Red City Entertainment claims they fronted $432,000 for this concert in the Bahamas.
When Lil Wayne never made it to the venue, the promoters sent police to his hotel, where they found Lil Wayne “passed out and unwilling to perform”. According to PageSix, in the court documents, Red City lawyers said, “He appeared to intoxicated”.
As a result of missing the performance, Red City had to cancel the concert at 2:30 am and refund money for more than 5,000 fans at $70 each.
Lil Wayne and Young Money Entertainment are named in the suit and statements have been issued.
