Los Angeles probate Judge Mitchell Beckloff, ruled today (July 6) that Michael Jackson’s 2002 will is valid and the provisions set out in the will be followed, attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain are to be the executors of his estate.
Katherine Jackson’s attorneys wanted the judge to delay the decision stating, “there is concern over handing over the keys to the kingdom so quickly.” And to make things even more messy Rev. Al Sharpton aka “Big Worm” went on the Good Morning America today (July 6), expressed his outrage over Judge Beckloff making the ruling today, the day before Michael Jackson’s memorial and funeral.
The requests for the judge to delay his decision fell on def ears, John Branca and John McClain now have control of the estate.
Katherine was originally granted temporary control of the estate and temporary custody of the children, because of the time they thought Michael Jackson died with a will.
The next hearing in the probate case is set for August 3.
