Jun22009Omarion Signs To Young Money
Omarion has finally found a label home. It has been confirmed that Omarion has signed to Lil Wayne’s label, Young Money. The cat was let out of the bag, so to speak on the popular microblogging platform, Twitter, supposedly by Tyrese who was trying to congratulate him.
Omarion’s last album, Face Off the collaborative project with Bow Wow, was released via T.U.G./Sony Urban Music/Epic. Face Off sold only 365,000 copies.
He’s not alone, Drake has also joined Young Money as well.
Really I thought Omarion was about ready to do a greatest hits album, but he’s trying to breath life into his career. Can you blame him? At least he has not resorted those ridiculous grind off videos that Spectacular aka Sexy Spec has released recently. LOL

Jun22009Eminem In On The MTV Movie Awards Stunt
I guess I was wrong about Eminem. According to New York Daily News, the show’s lead writer confirmed in a blog post that the whole butt in the face incident that occurred during the live filming of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards Show was all pre arranged.
“Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged,” writer Scott Aukerman posted on his personal blog on Tumblr.com.
“That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so let’s get it out of the way,” he wrote. “They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”
I am actually shocked. I would have never thought Slim Shady had it in him. Well I guess with the industry being the way it is, just about everybody has turned into “publicity whores”. Hope it was worth it.
In other news, Eminem is officially considered the highest selling rapper in the past ten years, outselling the likes of Jay Z and Nelly.

Not that I was not expecting to hear this announcement, but The Dream and Christina Milian engagement has been confirmed. The news of this engagement was recently released and let’s just say, Dream was not very happy about it. Word is he went completely off on his staff and pretty much everyone in his camp. Supposedly he is seriously considering making everyone sign confidentiality agreements.Ya think some heads are going to roll for this incident? LOL
And it looks like Rihanna’s chance of being on the cover of Vogue has been dashed. Word is the pictures of her tah tahs and assets on the internet really did not help her chances. Oh well! What’s one cover?

Jennifer Hudson is definitely with child. She has been confirmed to be 7 months pregnant.
J Hud had a weekend baby shower in her honor was held in downtown Chicago. A longtime friend, Felicia Fields, told Chicago Tribune that the event took place on Saturday.
“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family,” Fields, also a singer and actress, said of a gathering in a relative’s home. “They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet.”
She added: “It was a nice time that we had.”
Jennifer Hudson is engaged to David Otunga and plan to wed sometime this year.

Please tell me this was not a publicity stunt. Oh Lawd! (in my best Florida Evans voice)
Eminem was totally disrespected at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards Show recently by some guy name Bruno. This guy had no problem placing his a$$ in Eminem’s face, it almost appeared as though it was some type of prank and trust from the appearance of Slim Shady’s face, he thought he had seen a ghost.
No let’s keep this real, Eminem looked like he wanted to beat dude’s a$$.
Poor Eminem. I don’t really think this was a publicity stunt at all. But if it was he’s a good actor and a great sport.
Jun12009Kimora Lee Simmons Welcomes A Baby Boy
Kimora Lee Simmons gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend.
Kimora went into labor late Friday night. Just like most celebrities, tweeting has become the norm. She tweeted from her hospital bed in her not so fabulous hospital gown, “It’s time!!! No turing back! At hospital in labor right now,!! then she tweeted shortly thereafter “Having contractions now! Ooo-wee! It’s like WHOA! Love & Light, KLS.”
She was even sweet enough to tweet a pic of herself in the hospital pre-baby deliver for her fans on tweeter. Kimora was in labor for about 16 hours.
It was confirmed Kimora and Djimon Hounsou’s son was born Saturday morning (May 30).
This is the couple’s first child and Djimon Hounsou’s first child. Kimora Lee Simmons has two other children, Ming Lee,9 and Aoki Lee, 6 from her marriage to Russell Simmons.
