    Bow Wow and Jim Jones Dropped From Columbia Records

    Written by Micki B in Entertainment News at 1:24 am

    Bow Wow
    Word is Bow Wow, has been granted his wish, he has been dropped from Columbia Records. Be careful for what you ask for because you might just get it.

    Bow Weezy had been really going off on Twitter a couple weeks or so ago, asking to be dropped from Columbia.

    On the other hand, I don’t know what the reason could be for Jim Jones being dropped. Word is, Jim’s record sales have not been great. He started the year off with terrible sales.

    “Byrd Gang leader Jim Jones’ Pray IV Reign stormed onto the charts at No. 9. The rapper’s fourth solo project scanned 43,000 discs after its first week in retail stores.” (Sales Wrap/SOHH)

    Most recently, he credited Twitter for his increase in record sales. I guess this was day late and a dollar short.

    According to TheYBF.com;

    "Our A&R source at Columbia Records tells TheYBF.com that rappers Bow Wow and Jim Jones have just been dropped from the label. We called the Columbia offices to get an official statement, but it was after hours. Columbia has, though, removed both artists from their website."
