Well, Chris Brown’s final bid to postpone his preliminary hearing has been denied, he and Rihanna will appear in court Monday, June 22. This hearing will determine if the evidence presented is enough for Chris to stand trial in the alleged assault of Rihanna.
Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos, requested to delay the hearing, because he thought the leaked pictures of Rihanna’s battered face to TMZ.com, could taint the potential jury pools could prevent his client from having a fair trial.

However, Judge Schnegg said that Geragos and team can request the files 30 days before the actual trial, ruling the request wasn’t sufficient grounds for a delay.
Chris Brown could face close to five years in prison if convicted of felony assault and making criminal threats.

And while Chris Brown has resurfaced on the scene looking rather wholesome, his moves have been planned for the past six weeks by a crisis management company, Sitrick & Co., who were put on the payroll to clean up his image. And maybe get a little sympathy from the jury at the hearing.
