M.I.A. Reveals Baby’s Name
Mathangi Maya Arulpragasam aka M.I.A. has revealed the name of her baby boy as, Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman.
The baby’s father is musician Benjamin Bronfman, who has also gone by the name Benjamin Brewer; his father’s name is Edgar Bronfman Jr. (Edgar Bronfman Jr. also happens to be CEO of Warner Music Group.) The child’s second middle name comes from M.I.A.’s father: Arular was his political code name during his involvement with the Tamil Tigers political group in Sri Lanka, and is also the name of M.I.A.’s first album.
