LeToya Luckett graces the cover the April/May 2009 edition of Sister 2 Sister magazine.
LeToya sits down with Jaime of S2S to discusses being a successful business woman and platinum solo artist.
Jamie: How’s the boutique doing? You’re opening up another one.
LeToya: I opened up another one in the Houston Galleria.
Jamie: That’s a big thing, right? Is it hard to get in the Galleria at Houston?
LeToya: It is. First of all, I live in the Galleria. I shouldn’t, but that’s, like, my favorite mall in the whole wide world.
Jamie: Why?
LeToya: Because they have every store you could ever imagine, and they have a big ice skating rink in the middle of the mall.
Jamie: Can you ice skate?
LeToya: Yes.
Jamie: What’s the name of the boutique?
LeToya: Lady Elle Boutique.
Jamie: Lady Elle, and the other one was where?
LeToya: It’s in Uptown Park. It’s about 10, 15 minutes from the Galleria, but one is more, like, my higher-end stuff. The Galleria is the more affordable stuff.

Andre Benjamin aka Andre 3000 was arrested Saturday, March 28 in Georgia for speeding. Reportedly, he was driving his 2007 Porsche Carrera at a rate of 109 mph in a 65 mph zone, when the police pulled him over and booked him into Henry County Jail.
Word is when he was pulled over, the police asked Andre why he was speeding and his response was, “he was headed to a birthday party.” No wonder they took his butt to jail. LOL
Andre 3000 posted $1,200 bail and was later released.
His next court appearance is set for April 29.

Ms. Kelly has been dropped from her record label. She will no longer be recording with Columbia Records as a solo artist. Word is the bosses at Columbia Records felt she was “no longer commercially viable”.
It was officially announced today by the label.
"Because Columbia Records has been my home base as an artist for more than a decade, the decision to move out on my own required a lot of soul-searching," said Kelly Rowland. "As a solo artist, I felt the need to explore new directions, new challenges, and new freedoms outside my comfort zone and my friends and family at Columbia have been incredibly understanding about my evolution. I want to thank everyone at Columbia for the love and support they've shown and I will never forget how many good times we've had over the years."
"Kelly Rowland is one of our finest contemporary artists and a musical force to be reckoned with," said Rob Stringer, CEO, Columbia/Epic Label Music Group. "It has been a privilege and a pleasure to work with Kelly and we will continue our working relationship with her under the Destiny's Child moniker. The decision for Kelly to seek other opportunities for her solo career was agreed upon mutually, and any reports to the contrary are false." Source
Not the news that I would have liked to hear about Kelly’s career, but I am sure someone will pick her up.
Queen Latifah is being sued by a make up artist and a fashion stylist who claims she cheated them out of a collective $1 million.
Celebrity cosmetology consultant Rhonda Floyd says she lost $700,000 between July 2005 and February 2008 after Latifah to pay her. And celebrity fashion stylist claims Latifah failed to pay her $300,000 during the same period.
This lawsuit was filed in Federal court in Manhattan.

Word is Michael Vick agreed to pay Atlanta Falcons $6.5 million as a part of his bankruptcy case. This also gives the Falcons the aportunity to clear the way to release him before training camp.
This bit of information was not supposedly meant to be announced publicly, but apparently someone close to the Falcons camp leaked this info to the media.
The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the settlement is not being announced publicly, said Tuesday the payment would release Vick from the $130 million, 10-year deal he signed with the team in December 2004.
Vick, serving a nearly two-year prison sentence for dogfighting, was due to receive a base salary of $9 million and a bonus of $6.43 million in 2009. The remainder of the contract was worth at least $45.11 million.
The settlement was reached ahead of Vick's bankruptcy hearing in Virginia on Thursday.Source
And in other news, literary agent Scott Waxman is shopping a proposal for a Michael Vick memoir and this idea does not set well with PETA. Apparently, this book idea is also suppose to act as a means of showing remorse to the NFL for his crime he is currently serving 23 months.
Michael Vick can not win for losing.
Lil Wayne brings Keri Hilson out on stage to perform hurt hit single, “Turnin Me On”. Ms. Keri was in rare form, and I do mean rare form. Weezy playful grinds and flirts with with Keri while she performs. Get ready to fan yourself it’s about to get hot, check it out.

Something weird happened, T Pain lost four teeth last week, while playing around on a golf cart. Now that was a mess. Apparently he landed in a hospital needing emergency dental surgery.
T Pain had to cancel his appearance in Lil Wayne’s “I Am Tour” this past Friday due to this freak accident.
He was a good sport about it.
"That's f---ing true," Pain confirmed about the accident. "It did happen like three days ago. My ass is on fire right now. My side hurt, my mouth hurt."
But despite the bumps, bruises and missing teeth, the Titan of AutoTune was reportedly in a good mood on Sunday, telling the crowd, "I bust my ass. I'd show you the marks, but I don't wanna pull my pants down right now. ... I got my teeth fixed the same day. Rich n---a teeth." Source
Not only did T Pain miss a concert appearance, he supposedly missed the video shoot for Lil Kim’s video “Download”.
All in all T Peezy did not let a couple of bumps and bruises stop him from performing and giving his fans what they wanted. You ask me he was a soldier, four missing teeth, that would have been all she wrote for me. LOL
