The Game finds his self in court once again. He may be ordered to pay over $1 million in damages in connection to an alleged assault in February 2007.
According to Shannon Rodrick, basketball coach for his Blazers team, alleges Jayceon Taylor aka The Game punched and threated him almost 2 years ago during a Los Angeles City Hoop game. Game was playing for the opposing team, Litem-up when during a timeout, Game verbally attacked Rodrick before physically assaulting him.
To make matters worst, allegedly The Game vowed to shoot him after he followed Rodrick outside the Rita Walters Learning Complex.
Game has already pleaded no contest to firearm possession in a school zone, served 8 days in jail and has received three years probation. Also, he is in the process of completing 150 hours of community service.
In light of the seriousness of the crime, The Game never responded to civil court allegations resulting from the altercation. Therefore Shannon Rodrick’s attorney, Rosely George, is pushing for a default judgment of $1.5 million.
This sizeable judgment can be avoided if The Game appears in court on April 22.
