Mos Def’s Lawyers Sues Him For Unpaid Fees

Rapper Dante Smith aka Mos Def is being sued by his attorney for $60,000 after failing to pay for an expensive divorce from his ex-wife, Maria Yepes in 2006. He owes the attorney for unpaid fees and retainers in which he incurred during this divorce.

Maria Yepes and Mos Def were married back in 1996. The pair had three children together and subsequently, Mos Def married another young woman, Alana Wyatt who he married three days after knowing her. Def and Wyatt are currently separated and Wyatt has written a book entitled, “Breaking The Code of Silence” revealing details of their relationship.
