Dolemite Dies At 81

Rudy Ray Moore AKA Dolemite has died as a result of complications from diabetes in Akron, Ohio.

Rudy Ray Moore was well known for his character Dolemite, who was a pimp in his 1975 film, “Dolemite” and its sequel “The Human Tornado.” He several comedy records in the 60′s and 70′s, that may were worst in vulgar content than Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor.

Rudy Ray Moore leaves behind a daughter, Yvette “Rusty” Wesson and his 98 year old mother Lucille.

No details of the funeral were readily available.
