Da Brat aka Shawntae Harris has been sentenced to three years in prison today, in connection to an assault on Shala Stevens, a waitress working at Jermaine Dupri’s Club 72.
Also, Da Brat will have serve seven years probation and complete 200 hours of community service.

According to TMZ, Swizz Beatz also known as Kasseem Dean has been ordered to pay back over $842.644 to the United States governmentafter failing to follow through on tax payments.
And may I add, Swizz made the Forbes lists for being among the hip hop stars earning the most in 2007, earning $17 million.
Go figure!
Jeezy has just discovered has been inspiration to one of the Olympic gold medalist, Michael Phelps.
Phelps reportedly plays Jeezy’s songs to prepare for his races. He revealed his motivation before each race came from one of Jeezy’s songs, “Go Getta” featuring R. Kelly. (That’s my ish too, LOL)
He says, “I’m a big fan of Michael Phelps. He’s a great successs. I like what he’s doing. He’s like the Young Jeezy of the swim world.”
Maybe some of the other Olympic athletes need to put some Jeezy in their lives. I’m just saying!!!
Aubrey O’Day almost got her azz tossed out of Danity Kane by Diddy.
Word is Diddy and O’Day went toe to toe during a band meeting which was filmed for an upcoming Making Band 4 episode after O’Day took offence to her mentor’s criticism.
Diddy sets O’Day straight, “Let me be f*cking clear…I don’t have to have you here; that’s one thing we can make clear. I have you here because I feel you’re talented, but don’t get it twisted; I’m starting to think about why I do have you here….I’ll give you an answer soon.”
