Isaac Hayes Died Of A Stroke

Well it appears soul singer, Isaac Hayes who died Sunday, August 10 was likely the victim of a stroke related to high blood pressure, according to VH1.

The medical examiner, David Kraus of Shelby County, determined this based on his medical history which included being treated for high blood pressure and Hayes suffering a non fatal, but serious stroke last year.

Isaac Hayes family are comfortable with Dr. Kraus determination of cause of death so therefore not autopsy will be performed.

A public memorial service will be held August 18 at the Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee for the late great Isaac Hayes.
