Obama Denouces Ludacris Political Lyrics
Ludacris’s song, “Politics As Usual” is off of his mixtape, Gangsta Grillz: The Preview in which he collaborated with DJ Drama.
Ludacris attempted to voice his political view lyrically and it kind of back fired. “Politics As Usual” received lots of critics including Barack Obama. Apparently, Ludacris offended other politicians and presidential candidates, John McCain, Hilary Clinton and current president George Bush.
He called Hilary Clinton “irrelevant”, said that John McCain doesn’t belong in “any chair unless he’s paralyzed” and Bush is “mentally handicapped”.
Ouch!
Obama sent an email through his representatives to the press, “This song is not only outrageously offensive to Sen. Clinton, Rev. Jackson, Sen. McCain and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics.”

Good for Obama! He’s the MAN! I think this guy is going to be the most talented president we have had in a long time. He aint black and he aint white either. He’s both and that to me represents the true melting pot that america is suppose to be.
This aint much to do bout nothin. A lot of white folks think obama is just going to look out for us and not for them, this shows that obama is not just our president but the president for all americas white and black.
