James Brown Is The Daddy

A(n) independent DNA test was performed to determine whether a 6 year old boy is the son of the late James Brown, and the test does confirm that James Brown is the father.  The test was performed before a South Carolina judge ordered a paternity test, however the results of the court-ordered test has not been released.

Tomi Rae Hynie is the mother of the Brown II and former backup singer for James Brown.  Hynie also claims she is also James Brown’s wife, but Trustees of Brown’s estate suggested she was not legally married to Brown.
