Usher’s Upcoming Album Put On The Fasttrack
Usher’s new album, “Here I Stand” has been pushed forward due to what his label claims is “increasing global demand”. “Here I Stand” is set to be released May 27 on LaFace/Zomba record label.
The sudden need to put Usher’s album in stores sooner than later I am sure has a lot to do with the success of his single, “Love In This Club” featuring Young Jeezy which was produced and leaked by Polow Da Don. Currently, “Love In This Club” is No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. The video for Usher’s hot new single will premiere April 7 on MTV.

Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Nine Inch Nails and Stone Temple Pilots will headline this year’s Virgin Mobile Festival, at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland on August 9-10.
The announcement of the headliners of the festival in Las Vegas at the 2008 CTIA Wireless convention. The remainder the lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
Kyocera Wireless will be the handset partner and premiere sponsor of Virgin Mobile Festival where the debut of the “Virgin Mobile Festival Special Edition Wild Card” handset from Kyocera which will be available exclusively at Best Buy this summer.” Anyone who purchases the phone will receive festival-inspired content as well as other additional benefits.

Amy Winehouse is making her acting debut in “Doctor Who”. Winehouse is set to portray the villainess The Rani who was originally played by Kate O’Mara in the 1980′s. Sources, say she is excited about her role and has been a huge longtime fan of the show.

Deny, deny. Rihanna spoke to MTV News at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday Mar 29, “I won’t say that we’re just friends – me and Chris are really best, best friends.” Then she added “We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry… I trust and hang out with all the time. We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that.”
And Chris he seems to think that he and Rihanna have the worst luck with pictures. Go figure. Chris says, “They keep asking me, “Whats the deal?” and adds “I’m like, “There’s no deal. No deal.’ We’re just friends.” Also says, “I think we’ve got the worst luck with pictures. I think that’s the thing.”
Both Rihanna and Chris say they are just friends and all the rumors and pictures are all just bad timing and everyones own thoughts on what’s going on.
I say pictures don’t lie, but the two could possibly just be friends. Those two look so much like a couple. I’m just saying!

Kanye West has gone into the travel business. He has launched an online travel company, Kanye Travel Ventures (KTV) through his official website. The company is owned by the rapper’s West Brands, LLC, reportedly was formed to serve business and leisure travel demands for Kanye’s fans. Fans, of of West also get the opportunity to purchase concert tickets for his performances and merchandise.
West brought in a team of travel consultants to design programs to create and manage a cost effective travel experience for his loyal fans.
