The internet has been buzzing about Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon secretly dating. Now, the word is they could be engaged? What’s really going on?
Recently, Nick Cannon was put on the spot during a MTV News chat and was asked if the rumored engagement between he and Mariah Carey was true, and of course he refused to confirm or deny reports he’d asked her to marry him.
“Chuckling nervously, Cannon said, “rumors happen, they do. She’s great person…She’ probably the most festive, remarkable person I’ve ever met.” Source
It really did not help when, Mariah Carey was spotted at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York this weekend with a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger. Carey’s representatives refuse to comment on the new wedding rumors.
Looks like those two will be getting on the “free publicity” ride for a while.
Update: According to National Ledger, Chris Tucker has been ordered to pay $254 per month in child support. I guess something is better than nothing. And Chris Tucker continues to deny know this woman much less ever dating her. I guess he is going to stick to his story.
Looks like Chris Tucker got some baby mama problems. This woman, Gail Webb claims that Tucker is the father of her two year old daughter and he is not taking care of his responsibilities.
Gail Webb claims the pair dated for years before he disappeared as soon as they discovered she was pregnant with Krista Jane.
“She says, I just want help with Krista and want her to know her father. If Chris Tucker wants to go to court, I welcome the opportunity to show the world what a big liar- and deadbeat father - he really is.”
Chris Tucker’s representative tells National Enquirer, “Chris has never met or had a child with Gail Webb. And he has never seen the court papers.”

Mya, was set to make her debut next month on Broadway as Velma Kelly in Chicago. She has broken her left foot which now has delayed the songstress Broadway debut.
Mya was excited about appearing in Chicago, it was literally a childhood dream.
“She told Associated Press that appearing in Chicago was “something I always wanted to do - sing, dance, act and tell a story. It’s probably the ultimate complete dream for me.”
There were no details about how Mya broke her foot and there are not any immediate details of who will be replacing Mya as “Velma Kelly”.
