Wesley Snipes Not Guilty

Wesley Snipes was acquitted on felony charges of conspiracy to defraud the IRS and presenting fraudulent payment the IRS. He was acquitted on three other charges of failing to file income tax returns. However, Snipes was found guilty of three misdemeanor charges of failing to file income tax returns.

Snipes co-defendents, Eddie Ray Kahn and Douglas P. Rosile each were found guilty of conspiracy to defraud the IRS and presenting a fraudlent payment to the Internal Revenue Service. Kahn was the founder of American Rights Litigators (ARL) a tax protestor organization and Rosile prepared the income tax returns for ARL clients.

Wesley Snipes faces upto one year imprisonment on each charges of failing to file an income tax return.
